As the new year begins, there’s no better time to prioritize your health and wellness. For many of us, the holidays leave us feeling sluggish, bloated, or out of sync with our health goals. 75 Hard 30 Days to Healthy Living

Rudy and I did the 75 Hard Program back in the fall in order to kick start our health (and for me to get back on track weight-wise postpartum). We only made it 2/3rds of the way through BUT it did teach us a few valuable lessons. First, we need more protein than we think, and it can reeeeally help. We didn’t choose a diet but instead, focused on getting quality protein at every single meal or snack. It curbed cravings and kept us full longer. Second, after the initial week where you’re feeling tired and adjusting to the level of activity, it really does become easier. Those positive endorphins from working out start flooding your body! Exercise became a non-negotiable for me after that, despite still being extremely busy with the babies and our move, and life in general. But that program taught me that I HAVE to carve out time for these things, or they’ll just never happen.

The 75 Hard Program is quite unrealistic, especially if you have children. That’s why the 30 Days to Healthy Living program is what I’m choosing next month, and I hope you’ll join me.

  • Move your body for at least 30 minutes; walk, exercise class, at home weights
