Why I Joined Arbonne

If you’ve been following me on instagram the past few months, you’ve likely noticed that I have recently joined the Arbonne world!

Now, hopefully you didn’t read that sentence and cringe on the inside but it’s entirely possible you did — I get it. There is definitely a negative stigma around multi-level-marketing and Arbonne in general. Prior to social media, Arbonne people were the ones having ‘product parties’ at their home and were super pushy with sales which likely turned you off of the brand.

So, how come I found myself here?

One of my instagram-friends started sharing about the health products and how she became a consultant (which is another word for affiliate; sharing a code where you get a little financial kick back). I had been drinking the fizz product, a delicious ginseng energy powder, for a year but became interested in the other products when my friend started sharing about them. Ultimately, I decided to try a few new ones, got hooked, and then joined her team.

I am currently on mat leave and Rudy stepped away from work over a year ago for mental health reasons and hasn’t taken a salary since. We’ve been dipping (and by dipping it’s more like a full cannonball) into our savings and needless to say, it’s been a very very challenging financial year. I know so many can relate. So not only did it make sense to join as a consultant and receive the affiliate link and kickbacks, it also became a creative outlet for me while I was (am) on mat leave. I get to help other women and moms add some new products or supplements to their daily routine in order to help them feel their best — that is SO fun for me! Weight loss, energy, digestive issues, protein… there are so many great products to help with everything we’re wanting.

It might be cringe to you but it’s a lifeline for me. I’m surrounded (virtually) by amazing women and moms wanting to earn another income (big or small) and become a healthier version of themselves. I have two baby boys, one who’s just over 2 years old and one who is 3 months, so getting nutrients into my body first thing and throughout the day is a non negotiable.

Healthy living has allllwaaaysssss been at the forefront of my life (retired national team and professional athlete) and honestly, I didn’t need to make too many chances in my life to achieve that. However, my first postpartum period with my first baby was incredible rough and I was not willing to feel that run down and awful again. Luckily, I’ve been surprised by how good I’ve been feeling mentally and physically the past few months despite being in the throws of postpartum, interrupted sleep, and learning how to go from 1 to 2 kiddos. These supplements are the real deal, folks! And so is receiving a few extra hundred dollars a month.

Look, affiliate marketing is the norm now that social media is where it’s at. I’ve shared affiliate links like Fable, Saltyface, Pehr, and Goumi on my social networks so why shouldn’t I share nutritional supplements that have made a big positive impact in my life? Exactlyyyyyy. So that’s why I’m in the Arbonne world and how I got here.

I wont try to sell you on anything BUT if you’re interested in joining my team or trying any products, please please please reach out! I would love to have a little chat! And hopefully this little blog changes your preconceived notions on multilevel marketing. I saw this quote the other day and I thought it was perfect:

“I would rather 10% of every purchase I make go to a friend and her kids than go to Kroger or Costco. Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to make passive income and support people you know and love. Everyone is an influencer. The coffee I drink? A friend told me about it. The B12 supplement I take? A friend told me about it. The doctor I see? A friendly me about her. My hair stylist? The doctor told me about her. Why shouldn’t we receive kickbacks for recommending products we have already purchased and loved?”
